Jul 27, 2023All I know is I went to Astroworld tour twice and I’ve never seen, heard, or experienced music like that for a long time. Only other time I experienced something close to that was an Excision show and that’s edm
It’s a classic to me due to the effect I saw it have on everyone around me and how influential he and the music was during that time it dropped
Jul 27, 2023·3 repliesKodak Spicedawg travis scott is f***ing travis scott. birds had goosebumps, and everyone was anticipating astroworld. the way he built up hype was so cool. on dark knight dummo (a hit) "astroworld, my planet, my home", he performed a 1 min snippet of stargazing at rolling loud, all of his loosies were heat (green&purple, a man, WATCH and ofc butterfly effect), there was 2 years between albums, travis is with kylie, hes just really that dude especially with some cool features here and there (culture, trippie, fingers blue, etc)
he was just that guy and the hype was huge. the features were HIDDEN so it truly was an immersive and surprising first listen. akademiks sicko mode meme super viral. everyone was on the album. then theres the iconic tour (not the fest), the doc which was very good, the legacy of the theme park, theres just so many elements that made it special!

the doc was after the fact. After that album came out every single he dropped. Went straight to number one. franchise, the Scott's highest in the room. All of these things went straight to number one.
