    Has 1-2

FHD is the only one worthy of mentioning and that’s still ain’t it. The rest is all misses.

Drake Cole Kendrick, Big Sean even, all should get a lot of credit to varying degrees for not flopping as protégés and taking this s*** over a decade in

Prior to them, that rarely happened

To be under a massive umbrella of a lil Wayne, Jay z, Kanye west, and not flop, put out multiple number 1 albums, massive records, arena tours, and to still be relevant over a decade in says a lot about that group.

OP is wrong though Cole definitely and obviously wasn’t the first

It’s a good album for Cole, however that album ain’t nowhere near Blueprint, GKMC etc.

Go back and listen to it now, it doesn’t age well (most of his music doesn’t). I don’t know how he’s gotten away with producing most of his own stuff when he’s not a good producer.

But it’s been on the charts 7 years going on 8 so idk if it’s fair to say it hasn’t aged well.

I got my fair share of threads criticizing cole but FHD is one of those undeniable albums. It’s right there with GKMC and TC when we’re talking undeniable classics of the 2010’s

    Charts….really?

All this says he has a strong fanbase, (especially black women who are incredibly loyal), he’s in the top 3 for a reason.

Better than both FHD and FNL, and it’s a prelude to The Fall Off

Off topic but it’s kinda interesting that black women are among the most important bloc for entertainment and politics

Saved the democrats in 2020 and helped propel moneybagg yo to superstar status

  • The superiority complex this site has never ceases to make me laugh. Notice the common themes people spout when talking about people like J Cole makes music for “athletes” or “black women” as an insult really makes you think what they mean by that

Unfortunately they are the easiest target. Easy to manipulate them emotionally so they are the biggest spenders, with most of them coming from single parent homes without a father so there’s no guidance.

I’m going to stop there before people start saying I hate them

They both classics I don't even like Cole but that album def defined a segment of a generation

  • No because Drake and Kendrick exist

Drake was Wayne's protege which is massive
Kendrick got the torch handed to him by the entire west coast
Game was built around reviving the west coast and did
    Travis was Kanye's protege
Kanye was Jay Z's little brother
