tpab is my favorite rap album ever but me against the world is the blueprint for Kendrick and many other great rappers. Such an introspective album where not a single moment goes to waste

Also lets not forget that by the time in Kendrick’s life when he made GKMC, Pac was already dead. That’d be like Kendrick dying after Section.80, Pac was gonna continue to add classics to his catalog

everything from nas career has stood the test of time in terms of lyricism and creativity

it ain’t though. i mean i ain’t no oldhead and i wouldn’t say nas did EVERYTHING better, but as a pure lyricist? yes nas is better and it ain’t close, same w niggas like andre. for some people lyricism is not that important for GOAT status, but for me it is.

you could easily argue kendrick had put together better albums than bad though. not better than andre though

section.80 was such a crazy first listening experience but i can’t put ken above a ton of people like i think dmx is better for instance even tho i was barely alive for his run i just vibe with x’s music more and his delivery, content, aura, shows, etc put him above ken

I disagree with the second part. Anybody who had Drake top 5, top 10 all time still has him there. Maybe people moved him from 25 to 35 but almost nobody keeping count that far
