Montreal is also the least racist "big" city in US/Canada.
Vancouver here no
You don’t wanna go to Canada they don’t even like Africans over there
Montreal has many Senegalese, Congolese, Algerian, Moroccans, Tunisians, Camerounians & Ivorians and they can be quite succesful here.
I'm telling you guys, Anglo-Canada has been spreading lies for years about Montreal due to the image of the french people from outside the city.
Montreal (and Laval) is like a city state independent from what's really going on in the rest of the province.
Most of the youth is perfectly bilingual and will switch from french to english to accommodate anyone that doesn't speak french. Over 30% of the french youth will even chose to study in English when pursuing higher education.
The Quebec independence movement is also absolutely dead on the Montreal Island.
Nah trust me.
Idk I gotta assume redneck Edmonton or something is worse
Whites probably not even the majority in Vancouver anymore
head in a snowstorm

This !!
It's the least expensive of Canada's big cities and the public transit is decent/a bit above average. They real racists there from what I've heard though. Also the city does nothing to help their homeless, like most places.
On my last day there someone shouted at me to go back to where I came from cuz I didnt give them money
It’s cool, I moved here in August, the best place of all Québec lol, lemme kno where u at we’ll link up
@op
Montreal not that racist lol, go outside of the city in the rest of Quebec and you might get some weird interactions if u not white or dont speak french
Great night life, great food, public transit is aight, prostitution is legal like amsterdam, extremely cheap cost of living, etc. The city is a lil dirty here and there but it's really the best place on earth if u a young dude
Isn't QC worst? When I visited the first time I didn't have problems. But I've had homies who lived there that said differently
Idk I gotta assume redneck Edmonton or something is worse
Whites probably not even the majority in Vancouver anymore
Them Berta boys really making us look bad

i visited montreal and nobody had a problem speaking english and the city seems very young/open-minded
probably the nicest strangers ive ever come across, people were more friendly and open-minded than when ive been to toronto
