personally i loved the city it’s like visiting Europe in north america, french isn’t necessary but u will be hugely limited if u want to visit other parts of Quebec.

they have the best strip clubs in all of Canada, like u mentioned before the architecture is great feels really gothic. homeless people are unfortunately a problem when i went to visit i saw a homeless man getting head in the middle of a snowstorm idk how he got hard in the first place but every major city in canada does as well.

Personally i like the city more than Toronto maybe cause i’m a hipster idk how the housing market is and shot but it’s prob way better than Toronto. Also when i was driving there i did notice some crumbling infrastructure.
