I took a look at Lil Nas X's recent rollout. is it still working, or is it getting tiresome? what's the end goal here?

is he trying to make a point, or just trying to get rich?

    it just has no purpose

empty, void, totally meaningless shock value

like i love shocking art when its actually saying something

yeah i agree. in the video i kinda searched for a meaning in the shock value. i think someone could convince me that there is one, but with the way it was presented to us, its not super clear lol

Stand up comedy is having a whole renaissance. That's pretty much all it has going for it. Good barometer for this stuff.

  • The production is diet Humble and the hook isn't 1/2 as good as the singles from Montero so it's bombing. The marketing wasn't going to help much

ppl are def dont care to get outraged over most things, even this lil nas x situation seems to be driven for the most part by content creators. ppl dont even care for the song like that it seems like

yeah do you think its because its repetitive? like we did this already

Montero was kind of playing up the energy and hate he was receiving at the time.

This is like trying to start a lawnmower for the first time after winter. Extremely forced

Nobody checking for Lil Nas x @op

You could've used Ye as an example, given his Vultures album rollout
