Turns out, taking away stimulus checks WHILE increasing rent prices everywhere but not the wages WHILE not giving out no type of funding WHILE having an administration that isnt doing s***

Aint such a good idea. More Americans are resigning historically this year than ever. The job market is unbearably trash, jobs/media talking about no one applying are legit lying their asses off. And the housing market hasnt even (inevitably) crashed yet.

This whole s*** is done, we ain’t even see s*** hit the fan yet. I just hope what comes out of it is a new understanding that the people gotta look out for each other man smh

Yea they’ve always been there but they haven’t always been this aggressive where they attack people daily, push them into tracks, stab them in the neck unprovoked

We’ve had two fatal stabbings on public transportation in the past 5 days

Much more random acts of violence these days

So a lot of mentally ill people forced out because NYC leadership had no plan on how to re-accommodate and help them back into society after the pandemic.

Sounds like America as a whole was in such a rush to "get back to normal" that we refused to stop for one second and realize the citizens just went through a traumatizing year and may want to help lessen the financial strain on people.

That aint happen cause....this is America so now we're in this weird state where leadership's pretty much neglecting us and throwing everybody to the wolves.

Plus, NYPD has always been laissez faire lol.

Eh I'd say 80s and 90s NY was still crazier than this. However, my parents who came up in NY during the 60s and 70s have said that the amount of homeless people and closed up stores in Times Square does bring them back to the old days

Peak pandemic was crazy for NY though frfr. Round 7-8PM is when the MTA workers would start forcing the homeless people out the subway so they can sanitize s*** so they weren't allowed to stay in there overnight. Most of the city was empty so you really got to see just how many homeless people were really in the city.

Not just NY either, s*** in DC soon as you get off the train at Union Station and walk outside you'll see an encampment of homeless folk chillin, panhandling, and selling s*** to other homeless people. Not even a mile away you could see the Capitol building and the Washington Monument right down the road.

All that going on right in the nation's capital and in America's biggest city...really tells you a lot about where America is at right now

It's always been a homeless problem in America though. The pandemic just exposed how bad it has truly gotten in the last ten or so years because now people are faced with homeless people all over the place and in the streets instead of being tucked away in bus/train/metro stations and shelters.

S***s hells sad. It’s a mix of mfs strung out on d**** and terribly structured gangs running around causing hell. S*** is like a lite Chicago here now the way mfs have been getting clipped and robbed every day. It’s a huge deal currently because I live in a small ass city. It’s always been rough but it’s never been this bad. Don’t think I ever heard of mfs getting car jacked here until this year

People from the bay have always moved a lil crazier tbh, but now that basically every job is understaffed (including cops) mfs feel a lil bolder

Mans really said Los Angeles is a third world s*** hole cause someone broke into his car when there are whole communities that lack access to running water, safe drinking water, or sanitation in this country. The lens of how some view the world is crazy.

America always been a ghetto ass country which is why it's funny af when Americans (white of course) stay talking s*** about all the crime, poverty, and homelessness that goes on in other countries but then try to act like America is any better

S*** crazy as hell out there dog on God I swear everyday it’s either a big shooting, cars getting broken into, stores robbed, buildings catching fire, people reported missing, etc it’s always something. I got friends out there they be inviting me to go out there to bars and s***, I’m good on that

Idk a LOT of these robbers and thefts are done by unarmed people in pubic (very light sentence in San Francisco if you commit petty robbery or theft unarmed compared to other cities).

So if you blast someone’s face off and they find out they weren’t armed, the jury is gonna eat you alive.

And to top it off, the vast majority of armed robberies are stick ups and non violent, so even if that goon is armed, it’s very likely he has no intent of killing you.

So yes technically if you see someone pull out a gun and you blast their face off…by the law you will walk free but you’ll have to live for the rest of your life knowing you took someone’s life away who in all likely hood wasn’t even trying to kill you.

    Life isn’t black and white.

Shooting at someone taking from your property should always be legal, armed or not

and at this point these muggers don’t even care if you don’t have a gun on you when they Robbin, lot of people said they seen so many cold blooded murders, it’s all about who shoots firsts and survives nowadays

I can’t even imagine how bad it is out in the west coast, my city has always been rough but never to where you really have to worry if you have the slightest bit of street smarts. The fact people are stealing cars and robbing big chain stores in broad daylight is speaking volumes on s***. I hear it’s like an every day Cali thing (at least for outsiders and the unaware) to get casually robbed in daylight pre pandemic. That s***s wild to me

They been thrown us to the wolves since the pande started

Remember when Trump was acting like it wasn't real and forced the country out of lockdowns, didn't even want to lockdown at all to begin with.

They basically said 'yeah, ppl will die but not everyone so it's fine, get back to work!'

True. I don’t care though, the judge can give me whatever. No one will take what’s mine, what I worked hard for. Run up on me and you’ll get blasted.
