its because they're taking an approach on Batman that every other medium has dug into except movies...which is him being The World's Greatest Detective. A noir mystery take has been the selling point since 2017 and other hype only got added on through the casting and trailers

If they nail this (it will be hard but seems like its on the right track) its almost automatically a top tier and accurate Batman adaptation. We haven't seen he truest Batman we can on screen yet

Ledger as joker I always thought carried, boat scene potent, Two Face dying that way was funny and the transformation was a lil rapid because of the time they had/ he should understand the logic. Fight scenes not why you are there

It's funny u say that "he miles morales" in a condescending way - when in fact that IS specifically a very valid reason why the movie resonated with a LOT of ppl.

But even more than that - it is a wonderfully animated, supremely creative visual experience with a lot of heart.

I mean I know you love the matrix right? Ask most people about it and they just say slow motion,red pull blue pill and quote random dialogue.

I am Jamaican. I think movies should be more than representation and identity politics. I think it was dope. Seeing the same people that were outraged at the idea of Peter Parker being black because "being white is part of his character make your own heroes you have miles he is black in another universe that would be woke he needs to be white he has always been white" celebrate into the spiderverse will never sit right with me

Because for MANY of these heroes movies they only want the character to be white. I am not saying white or black are the only races but I am saying Bruce Wayne, Spider man, Superman can be any race

For spiderverse there are many limitations that DC or Marvel cant do in a movie outside of animated that I would love to see them do and they cowardly so they will only do it in that specific animated movie

If you want to act like Into the Spiderverse is the most well written animated movie and goat superhero film I get it cause I have been saying these live actions need to spend more money on writing that they waste on effects and actors that animated instead has to rely on story, visuals(drawers still cheaper than cgi)
