It's likely still Drake. Y'all can call Drake a pop star and all that but the fact remains he's billed as a rapper/rap artist.

Travis is likely on his way to being the biggest rap artist in the world currently based on his ad deals. Dude is on a cereal box, has a shoe/brand deal with Nike and Jordan, Fortnite concert that led to a toy deal with Nerf and MacFarlane Toys, and of course the McDonald's deal. On top of that, don't quote me on this however, I also think he's a global ambassador for the Houston Rockets.

Drake is the biggest rap act in the world currently, but Travis Scott is very quickly going to usurp that title based on Travis's business ventures. The dude is very much becoming a household name and it's off more than just music.

How many Drake stans can you spot in real life? Everywhere I go I see Travis fans. I do not go a day without seeing someone in some astro merch. The proof is in the pudding. Look at a Travis concert compared to a Drake concert. The majority of fans are casuals while Travis has these kids going hard af for him. The delusion is real if you don't think Travis has a bigger cult following.

He does have a bigger cult following, Drake stans tend to be older and more mature, while Trav stans are “ragers” and tend to be younger. Also OVO merch is still pretty huge

Thats why I say he's the bigger artist - at the moment. Travis is slowly overtaking Drake and it's because he found his market. I feel as if Drake fans are a mixed bunch. Travis has been the slight edge in this moment of time but honestly that title is gonna flip flop again and again.
