You're the biggest rapper in the world when your music is the most successful in the world, NOT when you have the most brand deals. I'm sure someone as huge as Drake has had several opportunities to work with countless brands, but he's more selective of who he does business with.

Travis isn't as established so it's understandable that he's saying yes to everything, especially now during COVID-19 when there's no money to be made from touring and all these brands are coming to him with a bag, but NONE OF THAT makes him the biggest rapper in the world. He isn't even the most popular, neither is his music the most successful, so how does that work?

his music is the second most successful in the US right now out of all the rappers. the only person competing for #2 is Kendrick or Post if you count him as a rapper

Boy Drake's average Spotify listens per Day is 22-23 million. Thats literally higher than EVERYBODY else except Juice wrld.

Travis scott aint even in the TOP 10.

And thats ontop of Drake's sales and top10 hits this year. DLDT is damn near platinum. Travis damn sure aint got the juice to go platinum off a throwaway tape in a few months.

on the spotify listeners tho, trav is the rapper who comes after post and drake.

if it was a hip hop top 10 he'd be top 3 on there. and we're only discussing rappers itt

Post is the second most successful hip-hop artist in the US now, not Travis. Even Lil Baby/DaBaby's music this year were more successful than Travis. They aren't as big as Travis, but their music this year was.

maybe their new music. but overall people went to Drake, Post and Trav for music more than Lil Baby, Kendrick and DaBaby.

i said post, but some people don't count him as hip hop or rap

i'm only talking music there, not brand deals or whatever. i don't think brand deals should be counted, pre covid touring should be tho. Trav comfortably ahead of a lot of people on touring too

Dawg. That doesnt even matter cause the difference in numbers between Drake and Travis scott is the distance between heaven and earth.

There is clear daylight between them when ranking

IMO Drake's a popstar not a rapper, Travis can barely even rap but he's still the biggest rap artist rn.

    He’s a pop star, not a doctor

They are def impressive but in the essence of being the most successful ARTIST it doesn’t have any correlation.

Drake’s celebrity and career is also notably bigger than Trav’s. If he wanted to do partnerships with big companies he could, it’s not like he wouldn’t be able to, he just doesn’t choose to. Beyoncé, Taylor Swift, Ed Sheeran, BTS, etc could also do a McDonalds partnership but they don’t choose to for the sake of just being commercialized to the fullest extent

Travis ain’t getting those partnerships because he is THE biggest artist, he’s getting them because he’s making that his brand purposely.
