This is a classic album.
Not only did it have classic pop rap SMASHES, but man I was listening to it the other day and looking at the cover and was really appreciating the connection with the futuristic production, which still sounds very fresh today.
Every song is legimately great, no misses on this album
We were so used to a more raw HOV up to this point, more street HOV, but this was really the introduction to the new era 2010's HOV
Mostly trash album with a few good songs bro its ok not everyone has to agree
Also this albums sound is a whole (pun intended) Blueprint for new rappers, whichever good rapper to run with this sound and modernize it will be huge
Mostly trash album with a few good songs bro its ok not everyone has to agree
Nah bro, not 1 trash song on here
Only 2 songs imo get a bit annoying sometimes:
Thank You and Reminder

not classic but not as bad as people make it out to be or even as bad as jay makes it out to be. its better than mchg imo

Jays rapping is some of his worst & most forced feeling while a lot of the sound n structure on most the project comes off messy & random
I respect it tho
Reminder is my only skip on the whole album. BP3 & Paper Trail pop rap classics
Venus vs Mars - timbo heat
So Ambitious - neptunes spazzed
Already Home - classic ye classic cudi
On to the Next - swizzy went nutso
The beats are something else bro

Imo this is one of the best produced albums of the 2000s, you're bugging bro
Has some great songs, but I just felt like this era, he seemed a little uncomfortable and out of place. Think he was figuring out how to still be at the top while the next generation of artists took the reigns. That’s why WTT is a really important album imo.

THANK YOU???????
I love Jay but this and MCHG are the personification of this pic
Nah man, BP3 is really so futuristic, nothing else from that time sounds like it
The sound is still fresh today
Jays rapping just seems off and messy on this album too me, the flows are janky and lyricism is kinda meh, production is hit n miss
I love Jay but this and MCHG are the personification of this pic
Jay was 39 when BP3 dropped and album was like a passing torch to current and younger artists (especially with songs like Star is Born where he’s shouting every one out)
Kinda how I see Donda with Ye being 44 and working with all the younger guys
Imo this is one of the best produced albums of the 2000s, you're bugging bro
Ok u def off the kookoo wazoo now bro bro
Hell nah nah nah 😳🤨✋✋
