    BP3 is dope and is one of 3 albums that got me into rap music. the track list is a tad hit or miss unfortunately

    jay’s level of lyricism is also not at its peak overall. i’d give it a 7/10

    I'd pretty much agree with this

    Off that always been a guilty pleasure for me tho

    A star is born miss on the chorus and prod but love the concept and verses. "Drake's up next, let's see what he do with it" crazy line in retrospect

    Classic album. Overhated.

    One of his easiest listens too, production was so futuristic.

    That Venus vs Mars beat is a masterclass of production by Timbo, one of his more underrated beats.

    And not saying those songs are ASS, I mean jeez there’s room for nuance in between “fire” and “ass”. But those songs are skips to me

    star is born hook~production is great. also one of the only times a j cole verse actually feels appropriately motivational / not grating
