Slaxx (2020)
It's an important message they're spreading (child labour), but instead of "Show Don't Tell" they "Show AND Tell".
Word? How do they execute the “tell”?

What's this movie about
The value of time. For a Hollywood movie I think it did a great job at it without going over the top
The only tolerable "Adam Sandler movie"
Corniest movie I've seen in a while. Main character was mad pretentious, trying his best to be eccentric, intellectual and unique. As he was trying to prove to everyone that he is not a statistic.
He accidentally kills this white girl that he was chauffeuring for. And goes on the run.
Stupid f***ing movie
What message was Us pushin?
This was part of my problem with it I don't think it has a clear one instead there's a lot of muddled threads about identity, loss of innocence, historical discrimination etc but they have no impact cause none get singular focus.
I was really disappointed cause I think Get Out managed to take a similar approach but was much more coherent in its message, while being a better movie generally. I very much hope Peeles next film is closer to his first

I guess...
I enjoyed Us from an entertainment standpoint. I didn’t really look for anything deeper when it was first out. Idk what social commentary you can tie it to.
whats the message of Black Panther?
anyone blaming the government for mistreatment of black people are just insane radicals and always trust the CIA
Done right: Dance Of Reality by Alejandro Jodorowsky
It’s about many things and is very layered in themes but at the heart of the story it’s about experiencing the world for yourself and setting yourself free from both the mental chains in your brain and the chains of your upbringing (parents)
This scene never fails to make me get in my feels
Absolute classic
it’s a joke
On the Waterfront is super heavy-handed about how it’s morally wrong not to report organized crime. Becomes even more eye-roll worthy when you learn that his point was to encourage reporting potential communists in the film industry.
