Is the entirety of SBR the horse race? I read the first 11 chapters and I was really liking Gyro, but I wasn't really feeling the race aspect of it, so I put it on pause. I could have just been a little burnt out on the Jojo style though cause I had just finished reading Stone Ocean and when I started SBR. No spoilers pls, just a yes/no

I actually would say I liked it (off the top of my head) up until you realize that Jobin is legitimately dead and the “flash forward” isn’t leading to some family dispute

Once you get to that moment, you realize the final villain is in front of you and then we started hearing there weren’t that many chapters left, so you knew the villain wasn’t going to get beat by something that was that well developed

The last 10 chapters or so were just a buzz kill, and the epilogue chapters was a kick in the nuts

No the actual meat of the plot doesnt start until 35 or so

I spent actual hours theorizing that he had a whole different plot in mind when he was at that point, and then by the time Josuke pulled up to the hospital , he just got burnt out as hell.

Nothing else can explain the amount of tension we got amongst the family for at least half the plot, and then end up at a spot where NONE of that matters except to just have additional actors in the race for the Rocacaca .
