Everything everywhere all at once is my movie of the year but y’all saying this is your movie of the year makes me feel like a fanboy and they are both beautiful movies with great creators and the last thing that would help us arguing which one is better . Shut even though Men lost some sauce at times I felt the overall movie and ending was more potent than this : NOPE was a fun environment to be in though . Like as I’ve said I never thought it was bad . Enjoyed characters. It’s hard for me to call it the best of his movies but perhaps . Definitely needed more Gordy time and a less neat ending

Nope is very much a Movie even as long as it is feel like a pilot or multiple episodes to a great season of television . Part lost , twilight zone , black mirror and overall very peele . Knowing that it ends like that and no more time spent with characters is bitter sweet because

1. You want it to slap an audience harder especially as someone who didn’t watch the trailers besides first. Because many are like “ well it faked me out “ . I didn’t have the fake out because I avoided trailers
2. I get the idea of humans nature horse cloud Gordy which also connects some to the twist of Us with the rabbits . It’s a movie where at times pacing felt slow but was all developing to the bigger picture
3. It’s been in my mind at least a better year for movies than 2021 . I wish I liked dune like everyone else lol but it is what it is
