While I agree when comparing those two specifically, but generally I don’t think Peele is as subtle as some ppl claim. Like honestly there was nothing subtle about Get out lol the whole theme was front and center

Word I thought we was more so talking about race since spike loves incorporating those themes too, and obviously get out was about racism.

But I will say even tho Peele doesn’t seem subtle to me he does have dope ways of showcasing theme. Like when the white GF in get out is eating cereal she has the milk separated, basically a way of showing segregation

Yea,Spike is still creative with his films but in ways,he's kinda uninspired. He wants to speak to the youth without understanding them,he tries tho.
