all that work just for some fella named chad to get pitied into going to work by uncle jeff
they did the most with that email. They should have said your lack of experience kept you from getting the job and kept it moving
why do you say that?
even if i disagree with how they feel
i'm glad they gave me a reason
all that work just for some fella named chad to get pitied into going to work by uncle jeff
it's a shame really
at least the job was diligent enough to give you a drawn out explanation
ive been taken off of cases after a day of work for 0 reason except for what i overheard in a conversation not meant for me to hear
my point is
if i give you clear examples
and stories of things i've done
and what i believe
how does that not achieve the same goal
i have my metrics and results listed on my resume
i work in sales
i know how to sell myself
but that wasn't what this role was about
did you read the job description?
i'm not saying the boring day to day stuff isn't important
but fam
i'm grown
if you can't tell that i'm a good employee just based on what i am even talking about
idk what to tell you
that's just how i feel
and i thought they understood that
The way you type makes me so uneasy reading it
If you typed like this at any point with any documents during the recruiting process then that's prob why you actually got rejected tbh

i do not type like that on professional documents
but isn't that obvious
not necessarily
you gotta remember for a lot of these jobs that’s their #1 priority is finding someone who’s going to do and do well the boring standard stuff
Sure the vision sets you apart but you gotta sell yourself upfront as understanding the hierarchy, understanding the role and being able to do that well above everything else

yeah i think they are actually cool dudes
i just don't get this decision
they did the most with that email. They should have said your lack of experience kept you from getting the job and kept it moving
nah massively disagree
that’s fantastic feedback to get I wish jobs I applied to gave me feedback like that

that’s that adhd writing lol
I do the same
It’s like a train of thought feels way more expressive
But yea definitely not the go for formal s***
not necessarily

i just feel like you don't achieve what i've achieved without doing that stuff
you know?
in having a conversation with me, it's clear that i'm extremely thoughtful and methodical
i get what you're saying
but i just feel like it's not hard to tell that i'm the type of person who is willing to do what it takes
not just for me to thrive
but for the company

they don’t want to hear about your ideologies. they only wanna hear how you can work well in their company.
if you tell them you sales record tell them what you did and how you did it and how those skills are transferable

how do you not hire this guy?
yea I get you 100% but you just gotta keep it real cut and dry
like if they’re looking for a sales person and they ask how does your experience make you a fit for the job
Answer: I have a significant amount of experience in sales. My last job I came in with little sales experience but I have a high drive to succeed and to adapt to new environments which helped me to quickly learn the culture of the job and the product. I ended up becoming the first person in the business to sell over a million dollars in product. While I don’t have experience in this particular product niche I also had fairly minimal experience in that product niche but managed to excel because I’m willing to work hard and learn how to succeed regardless of the familiarity of my environment.
Jobs never really know how legit a lot of the stuff on your resume is so you’ve gotta sell it to them at a very basic very real level. Use some stories about stuff that you did at the job to show how you’d succeed

i'm not crying
i'm asking for the opinion of others
