Very good points tbh. I will say im not necessarily “for” cancel culture, just dislike comments like Kelly Rowland’s which claim to be about not being judgemental, but come across more “don’t criticise me (or other celebs) for anything we do”.

There’s defo two sides, and a lot of unnecessary criticism of stuff by people whose whole job/existence is poring over what celebs do. But do feel that portraying all of cancel culture as being about judging others, is the same kinda vibe as someone looking at sexual assault and metoo and coming out with a take like “can’t even say hi to a woman now worlds gone mad”
