Back in 2018 which was the peak of that garbage era when Cole released this. It obviously didn't matter to most people then because they were living off of trash music and d**** (hence the name Kids on D****) and they didn't want to hear about s*** that was "uncool" but listening to it today has been refreshing, Cole honestly stated nothing but truth on that album and it's held up super well. Now that everyone is a bit older, look back and see if these lyrics did not hit hard for that time.

He touched upon d*** abuse, addiction, depression, and greed in this album and it has held up amazingly.

I listened to KOD again about a week ago and paid more attention to lyrics, he was really talking about real s*** the song about his momma made me feel some

its like most of Cole projects, very dope rapping and good subject matter, but the Songwriting and Production is mid or bad. Of course there are some great songs like Kevin's Heart or 1985 but some of the hooks on this joint are very bad or mediocre, he even uses the same hook formula (repeating the same words or bars many times) on like 4 songs. Kill Edward was trash and some of his voice deliveries are very questionable and put you to sleep/are underwhelming.

Cole is a very good rapper, if he works with other producers and artist he can make a very good album, I just hope he doesnt play it safe

Cole needs to stop this no features bullshit.
