Haha, yeah man I know you liked that era of SoundCloud. Personally the concept was wack at the time for people because they were eating that music up and they didn't want to hear Cole, but after a few years I think it's held up well and aged great because we can look back and understand what he's really saying and criticizing.

Dope project though.

I only think I even liked that era because I was listening to electronic music like 90% of the time around that time and only paid attention to certain rappers out of SC like carti, Kodak, and pump so idk

Dude right? EDM was absolutely going in those years as well. You hit more of the commercial artists on SoundCloud so that's understandable. I remember I was trying to find stuff I liked and it was SO tough to sift through all the bullshit that was coming out man... holy s***

There was even so many wannabe rappers from my area naming themselves "lil" (insert object or gamertag or whatever the f***) and they ALLL sounded the same

Yeah that lil s*** been wack. I knew at least 3 s***ty soundcloud rappers too but I was like actual friends with them and had to watch them attempt to freestyle at EVERY get together / party

holy s*** yeah everyone thought they could be a rapper it got sooo wack. so many dudes got face tats and s*** too and they were dressing ridiculous for "clout" man... that s*** was so f***ing dumb and childish looking back
