    Both goats

Don’t know why you gotta shade Cole. You can uplift KRIT without bringing him down.

both have same skill set and came out at same time

    this is a discussion forum

and you saying krit is a goat doesn’t mean he is seen as one

    fendi

asap giving him 1train verse was honorable/ paying dues

That gave him alot of momentum because he killed that verse, plus Kendrick calling him out on Control helped too. Def Jam just didn't support him enough

I agree. I always wondered why KRIT never got the look like Cole did. Very similar artists but KRIT is much more southern than Cole and maybe Cole's connection to NYC and How helped.

this and Cole makes better singles

He's not, and I feel like ya would treat him like cole if he was as big as him

Krit just couldn't make a single that stuck that really is/was his biggest problem. As amazing as he is his sound is really regional. Return of 4Eva is an essential southern hip hop mixtape/album but and a lot of his projects are legitimately great but he was never able to make a single that stuck like his contemporaries (Cole, Wale, Drake, Cudi, Wiz, Rocky) he's an amazing southern artist but being so southern made him not really that palatable

Cole? Yeah Hov didn't let him drop for years for a reason and imo it helped his career a lot bc Friday Night Lights helped his hype even more and he was able to make good singles like Work Out and Can't Get Enough

Its kinda f***ed up how that Andre 3000 didn't give him a co-sign knowing Outkast was one of his bigger influences.

    I’ve always found that weird.

Big Boi has always showed KRIT love which is wonderful but he never got that 3stacks approval..

Yes indeed,if i was gonna pick one producer to have a few beats on a new Outkast album at that time,i would've picked KRIT
