It's some truth to that. I think KRIT stuck to what got him where he was and released singles like "I Got This" but then switched it up with "Pay Attention" and even "Addiction". None just really stuck. But I feel like he still made/makes better music than Cole.

yeah if you said cole never made a project as good as return of 4eva i think many would agree with you and that’s no knock on cole. his music appeals to a much wider audience and singles like i got this, lac lac, and money on the floor don’t really connect with people the way work out, can’t get enough, or power trip did. and i love both artists krit just doesn’t have the mass appeal

People just gotta be okay with Krit not being a crossover act & that’s okay

yea ugk are legends and they really didn't do billboard numbers outside of their collabs with jay z and outkast
