The fact that TMZ denied the UMG letter 30 minutes after it was published on Twitter looks suspicious. I am not saying that they indeed asked Kendrick to apologize but they tried to mitigate the damage that Drake took. UMG holds 70% of the music worldwide. They invested 400m in Drake and Kendrick is destroying his image. Drake is the ultimate product and the industry needs him.

To me the beef is over and there is no point for Kendrick to release new direct diss songs. Obviously, he is dropping an album, and I am sure he will continue his battle against the industry.
