I was planning to watch but I thought it was a movie. How many episodes is it going to be

I don’t got peacock but I can find a stream somewhere. Cast is stacked
Elizabeth Banks and Lewis Pullman do what they can with what they’re given but it’s a pretty predictable thriller. They shoved the red herring in your face it made it too easy to figure out the twist. Speaking of which, they gave us the same reveal twice. First they show it to the audience then the main character it was redundant.
But the movie looked great visually. Will be looking out for the director’s future work on that alone cause I think he’s got potential if given a better script
It goes through all the familiar plot beats you expect from a coming of age movie. It doesn’t try to reinvent the wheel but it does what it’s going for really well. The characters are like able, the world is fun to hang out in, and it’s well shot. Gabriel is already on his way to do big things but I hope the main guy and girl have long careers too. Also nice touch having the Love Simon guy in this. Id recommend if you’re looking for a nostalgic escape
Also I didn’t realize this was the same writer/director of Dinner in America till after I watched
Role Models (2008)
Man we don’t even get good goofy comedies like these anymore….am I wrong? How did these movies kinda fade out. I don’t exactly keep up with movies in the theaters these days.
Also Sean William Scott is the man 😂 he is a 2000’s comedy staple
Paul Rudd has his own sorta humor too love 2000’s comedies
This took me back, I used to have this on DVD

I didn’t get this s*** at all. There’s some nice dialogue but ultimately I was wondering why anything was happening on screen the way it did.
I didn’t really understand what this movie was trying to say so I focused on what on I felt and there was nothing there either except confusion. I was struggling to stay awake in the last 10 minutes.
I’d be interested to hear opinions from people here who’ve seen this
Watched it based off @SegaDreamFlash recommendation.
Yeah, Tarantino stole his sauce off this entire flick for sure. I wouldn't call this a film you'd watch for the story: it's a pretty convoluted one, and also doesn't make you emotionally invested, but those visuals....
Made in 1966 too? Wild

Glad you f***ed with it. I agree with you about the freedom of growing up in the moment without technology. It’s a shame it’s not the norm anymore
