i don't consider the truth/untruth of that statement to justify citing 1 song as the base for frank's soundi agree with @Shoegaze only in the sense that i think some of frank's songs have sounds that are similar to that one. for the most part, i don't agree with that statement because i don't believe most of frank's songs, nor that most of his recent work, resembles that song. n since shoegaze sez that song's the "base" for frank's sound, i'm inclined to just say nah. it's more accurate to say that it could be the base for some of frank's songs. no rzn to reach for such generality in this situation, imo
I see what you mean, but that track is the closest sounding to franks work now. Before Eno, spacey and ambient noises weren’t really a thing in music, only in experimental work. Its so common today people don’t acknowledge it when it’s truly ahead of it’s time.

eeeeeh it kinda is, from my life experience at least
talent only combined with effort leads to successs
I would say talent is like a muscle , and you can like "train" IT
but its a fact that some ppl are just naturally more gifted then others
like with a singing voice or whatever
