"idk its just the rhyme schemes and lyricism that makes relapse so incredible to me"
"You get him? Naw, f***er tried to bite my face off
I just got f***ing chased off with a chainsaw
Then he took the chainsaw, bit the f***ing blades off
Ate the blades, stuck a baseball in a slingshot
Then he aimed at his own face let the thing pop
Took his eye out picked it up and played ping pong
Then he played ping pong with his own ding dong
That motherfucker's got nuts like king kong"
I mean aren’t these the lyrics he’s known for? What are your thoughts on SSLP & MMLP?
Recovery >>>
Recovery was the album we needed from Eminem specifically during that period.
It showed his Growth from where he’s Been and where he Could go.
Just a better overall performance than Relapse.
The one that has On Fire
Sadly has WTP
bruh it’s not even close.. Relapse all the way
ppl were turned off by the accents but his flow, delivery and voice was so vintage slim shady it’s just fire
Plus it’s his best produced album. Some of those beats like My Mom and Medicine Ball are bangers
Relapse is literally a perfect hip hop album while Recovery is a bunch of bullshit and the start of Eminem's fall. Crazy ass question
Relapse and it is NOT CLOSE.
Relapse is one of my favorite albums of all time. Recovery is a nice and solid project. It’s different
i swear if tyler the creator said he f***s with kingdom come and its goat jay album
all of you would be on that nustack reall quick
all of you
lmaoo dumbass
He’d be right if he defended BP3. It’s a great album
bp3 the actual worst hov album imo
Whats better getting f***ed by a gorilla or eat ass from a hippo
Keep your fantasies to yourself, G
Recovery had more nice tracks than people like to admit but it is still average as a whole
Has something to do with the change in his voice for sure
Nah. Idk. I remember everyone immediately was relieved when MMLP2 didn’t have the scream delivery of Recovery but, in retrospect, MMLP2 gave us choppy, off-beat flows crammed with too many syllables in bars and lacked, for the most part, introspective lyrics and coherency of Recovery for overtly technical battle raps with shifting topics.
But yeah, the weird Rick Rubin dad rock samples and the hooks were so bad.
