plenty of other exciting genres or even sub genres. but what I will say @op is that as i’ve grown older, certain rap artists don’t hit the same, and found my love for other rap artists and rap movements such as griselda, stones throw, slums, etc growing heavily. not sure if it’s an age thing or just my personal taste shifting. but don’t let people flame you. i’d say embrace the change and you’ll find some amazing new music

If you still love rap from before this era, you're not "losing love" for rap.
You're just getting older and the newer acts are targeting a new demographic.
It's fine and it's perfectly normal. A lot of 90's rap fans didn't feel Wayne or Kanye when they blew up either cause of their age.
2020 had a lot of great rap projects that I still listen to. If you know where to look, there's still great music being made.
