Nah I got the point and its wrong. Rapper's delight was only the first rap song because it was something that was gonna sell records

They litteraly pick these niggas from the hood to make that song.

U think these white executives were gonna let some niggas from the hood in 70s drop a record on some lyrical conscious s*** ??? That dont mean the root of hip hop was all about party and selling records.

Zulu nation was doing all that lyrical s*** way before. Niggas were literally battling eachother to see who had the best rhymes back then

It doesn’t make or break you as an artist because technically that’s not where it was founded from

Many can claim they know what they are talking about but the origins clearly said differently
