honestly didn't really enjoy the album when it originally leaked (besides Funny Papers of course) but the official release might be a top three Mac album for me rn

BroswisskeyI listened to stoned again before replying and you know what that's a good song for a single. I think 5DPR more catchier for me from the first listen but stoned kinda good too.
I listen to mac leaks time to time but didn't listen to this because i had problem with tagging song titles
Is the stoned leaked version same as released version?
Yea most of the album is same as leaked for the most part and i feel that bout 5DPR

Dunno if any of ya'll peeped Josh Berg reddit post on the Mac sub but it's the most lore about the album that we'll probably ever get n made me really consider putting this at 2 in his discog if half of these songs were made this fast n he was getting this deep lyrically is insane i know Faces is like this but less spacey but i feel lyrically this is way more raw that on top of being made out a jam session in 2 weeks like how bruh....

Cool to hear the explanation of why those two songs from the leak were cut from the official release. Very detailed. Thought it was likely finally he sleeps was part of a different project.

But you could make a case for any of his projects from 2013 onwards. Especially this album, this may crack my top 3 Mac albums now
Jan 20loving the vibe of this project. definitely was being made around the same time as Faces but sort of carves out its own aesthetic in a way that doesn't just feel like Faces leftovers

Mac’s whole discog gives me that feeling. How did we go from BSP to Watching Movies in less than 24 months. Then Faces/Balloonerism a year later? GO:OD AM a year after that? Then TDF, Swimming and Circles sessions across the next two years.
