MJ had pure hardline mainstream commercial status which is why he's more widely known than Prince

This is the truth. No matter how much you compare the two they were contemporaries & left their stamp on culture, music & artistry alike. Whoever you say is better in truth is your preference. I enjoy Prince's music more but MJ without a doubt is MUSIC's (In general) greatest performer ever. Which is nuts considering Prince was right up there w/ em in that regard.
