How are y’all saying Pogba and Bruno can’t fit in the same team, when y’all think having Bruno and Van de Beek together in a midfield 3 is even remotely balanced.

I am completely open to debate. But in my opinion Pogba is not suited to that role in a midfield 3. I would love to be proven wrong.

VDB (at his best and with a full pre-season) works harder off the ball and is better in possession. That's exactly what you need from that CM.

You think he is better in possession than Pogba? I haven’t seen anything from Van De Beek last season that added anything to our game that either Pogba McTominay or Fred don’t also have. He doesn’t run as much as Fred or McTominay or make more interceptions. And doesn’t have a good long cross ball in him to shift the playing field like Pogba has. VDB should be mainly used as an extra attacking threat imo. But if we are already playing with three attackers + Bruno I don’t see a place for him in our starting XI. We’d have to play with 4 midfielders then.

So many things Pogba brings to our team that Donny just doesn't have. Donny is not doing those insane pings to Rashford up top or doing those elite finesse shots in the games that we need them

What I take from this with having these quality players in our squad, you either accommodate a player into a system where he can flourish with having players who suit that particular player style.

You sell that player, for example, take Veron fantastic quality player who just couldn’t get into our system and players like Scholes, Keane and Butt were better suited to the formation and tactics.

If Pogba stays and signs a new deal then sell VDB, because under this management I don’t see him ever getting guaranteed 1st team action. However if Pogba does leave, then I wouldn’t sell him at all.
