This has potential.
I hope there's no over the top insect s***
I’ll let you know how it is after I start it
My fave story by my fave author
It’s a very eerie read... got me looking away everytime I see a spiral irl now
Im on volume 4 (haven’t read in like 6 months tho )
you should, the pay off is great and if you think the 1st 3 volumes were good you'll be pleasantly surprised...take my word for it
Art definitely starts getting better throughout. The characters’ faces looked kinda slender in the beginning
reading this classic rn.
probably the first time i’ve ever seen Zatch Bell referenced on KTT
used to watch that s*** as a youngin

Dandadan, new manga made by a former assistant of Fujimoto (Chainsaw man and Firepunch).
Three chapters out, the art and comedy so far are great, really looking forward to what this series gonna become.

fr I always forget what happened in the previous chapters and end up re-reading them and then read the most recent one in continuation to get a decent flow of events
I dropped the fate manga I was talking bout along with dai dark, mieruko-chan, blade of the immortal sequel and gantz:edo for that same reason

Exactly. I forgot wtf was going on in Mieruko. Same with Grand Blue ill be like 40 by the time some of these series even finish. That’s why I’m hesitant to read Land of the Lustrous also.
I’m caught up on Berserk but I also forgot wtf was going on too outside of events on the island

you're preaching to the choir bro...I'm a OP stan and I might have my children reading the end of it along with me
I know I said ''enjoy the ride'' but even the best rides have a destination
Land of the lustrous is dope af I watched the anime then I did my casual search on manga-anime differences and started the manga from chap 1......I'm on chap 13 but I take my time and read like 3 chaps per week.....the anime is great too (best use of cgi I've ever seen)
One way to ''cope'' with seemingly endless series is spending time with finished ones so that 1 chapter per month formula will feel refreshing instead of bothersome

Yeah I’m gonna try and limit my reads of ongoing series for now... I think Land of the Lustrous will be next one I start. I had wanted to start Tonikawa since the author keeps up with it well
I think after I finish Horimiya (been running through it fast) I’ll go back and check out some shorter series first like Parasites in Love
S*** man my plan to read is all over the place
