Yeah I’m gonna try and limit my reads of ongoing series for now... I think Land of the Lustrous will be next one I start. I had wanted to start Tonikawa since the author keeps up with it well
I think after I finish Horimiya (been running through it fast) I’ll go back and check out some shorter series first like Parasites in Love
S*** man my plan to read is all over the place
based on the series I've seen you talk about Land of the Lustrous is more than perfect for you. (I think) but beware!!! the ''caught-up syndrome'' is waiting for you
Started Alita Mars Chronicle, I know this man has been on crack ever since Last Order but apparently he kept upping the dose, don't know wether I hate it or love it, very weird.
Seen some screen shots and holy s***
yeah it gets wild
there's also an anime adaptation thats quite decent
Almost finished with this
Yo I didnt know horimiya manga was completed
is it fully translated??

Yessir. It’s finished and fully translated. So easy and chill to read. Art starts off kinda weird tho in the first 20-30 chaps lol you remember me posting slender miyamura but it gets better after the haircut

Yeah I feel like the manga was a better route for me over the anime. I need to witness this art

honestly, I kinda wish I did the same
I might cop volume 1 of Berserk, which would be my first manga since the occasional Dragonball book I checked out the library as a kid. Don't know much about Berserk other than it's about dude with a big sword and that a lot of the themes were inspiration for the Dark Souls games, so I'm thinking I'll enjoy it. Plus from what little I've seen some of the art looks real good

If you like older anime visuals I'd recommend checking out the 1997 anime before picking up the manga. The anime covers the first major arc which is a great starting point because the first 3 volumes of the manga actually take place after the first major arc.
This way when you start the manga you already have a bit of an understanding of the world, some of the characters and you're able to make some connections you wouldn't be able to make otherwise.
This is how I went about it and I'm really enjoying it. I'm about to finish volume 2 tonight. Of course this means you'll end up reading an arc you've already watched, but the arc is so good that it shouldn't be a problem. I don't think going in blind is wrong, just that having a baseline might make it even more enjoyable.
Dude is still in this town
What is this
Bruv wtfuk
This got all gory all of a sudden
if this is from the same manga as the one I quoted before.. nvm I don’t need to know what this is
