Heard of it but I haven't read it either
I'll let you know what I think about it if I get to read it
Slightly off topic but does anyone here read webtoons? My homie told me about tower of god and he swears it's amazing but man does it look cheap
I loved the tower of god anime and wanted to read it but it looks awful imo. I'm gonna try to read it anyway bc I really want to see how the story unfolds
your collection looks DOPE tho I know that much
it'd be a lil 2much to ask for both tokyo ghoul and TGre to be included in one huge boxset right?
all I can say is enjoy the ride, tokyo ghoul shaped up the way I view art....it has a lot of subtle meanings and symbolism like the flowers shown and their meaning in japanese culture and many more you can search for yourself along with great artwork and one of the best cast of characters I've ever seen
Sorry 4 the tldr I'm just being weird cause I love tokyo ghoul too much
My RE box set showed up after 4 months lesss go, time to start reading again
OPM Spoiler
I love this manga.
But the way they work on it is so weird, this a redraw from something that happened 50 chapters ago, not even sure how long ago this dropped anymore.
And we are still in the same arc
Heard they’re in Garou arc rn? At least on shounen jump
i guarantee Tower of God and God of Highschool are just as good/better than any manga you’ve ever read, just trust me.
Webtoon as a platform is cool, but has been filled with a ton of middle of the road type s*** that’s not completely worth reading. ToG and GoH are not that at all, probably the two brightest gems on there.
first half of s1 of ToG doesn’t look great, but from then on the art gets better and better every chapter. my lil brother was rereading s1 the other week and was sending me screenshots from the first couple chapters, had me cracking up
I can only say that in terms of fighting when talking about God Of Highschool. I’m torn on the plot. I will say for Tower of God, outside of Bam being a bit dull (he’s gotten way better since the beginning), the world building, plot, etc are all top notch.

WEBTOONs you gotta dig for the good ones. I’d recommend God Of Blackfield, 29 year old French mercenary captain is betrayed and reborn in the body of a man 19 year old in Korea. Gets involved in life of crime. Really good. B******/Sweet Home is also a really good horror psychological type genre. Hardcore Leveling Warrior is also refreshing and pretty good take on the virtual reality game story. Lookism evolves from a slice of life into some gangster action story pretty flawlessly. Hellper is easily the most underrated of webtoons, I’ll leave this video here so you can watch a quick video about it.
Kubera is also an underrated story. Possibly the best worldbuilding the medium has experienced. Art is a bit eh and not a fight heavy story, but the appeal is in the characters and the well thought out story.

Tower of God GLOWS up. Like the art improves drastically, trust me.
Any of you guys keeping up with this
It's aight lil generic
Kaijuu is just okay. It’s enough to read, but misses that X factor. I’m giving it time to actually get into the thick of a plot. I can see this getting axed though

I got to the point where the anime ended and yeah it got better, still has awful moments though. Im coming off a fresh finish of berserk so I know that is partly the reason, but it just pretty bad compared to a lot of manga. Still though, the story is enjoyable enough to push me through. I have no idea where this season 2 arc is going. I think a lot of the Rachel hate is unwarranted too

The boxer is great. Purple hyacinth is bookmarked I’ll have to go peep that and hero killer. Is hero killer the same as villain to kill? Reading that. Also wind breaker is a good one about cycling and slice of life

hero killer is like a reverse villain to kill with more gore

Will peep. The legend of the Northern Blade is really good. Art style like solo leveling with a story somewhat similar to Gosu in that it’s Korean martial arts based.
Survival record of a Sword King is an actual good isekai. I say “actual good” because I don’t usually take to isekai and the genre is tired.

ive been looking for a martial arts webtoon with dope art for a while....thanks will peep soon
edit. i wasnt feeling gosu, the art was good but the characters felt...lackluster
are there any other webtoons/mangas out there with big worlds + a great storyline like one piece, AOT, and tower of god?

Yeah the characters and the story is mid, the prequel Yongbi was a more enjoyable manhwa despite it being what seems to be a 90s work and I wasn’t able to find the end.
