Finished the first volume of Chainsaw Man today. Does it get better later? I have vol 1-5 so I have plenty left to read. Maybe it’s the translation but it feels very childish? Idk, I’m not really feeling it but I’ve heard so much praise for it I feel like I must be missing something.

From what I remember around chapter 20 is when it starts to pick up steam

I prefer to buy cause it just feels better to have an actual volume in your hands imo. Also, for me it's easier to get sucked into a story and focus when I'm having to turn every page. I read scans too, but really only if I'm reading the colored version or if I'm not sold on the series and wanna get the vibe before spending money.
