Read a little bit of dorohedoro past where the anime ended

Artstyle kinda tough to get used to, love the world and mystery of whats going on need the anime back

mannnn trust you have no idea how confusing and bizarre this s*** gets, i don’t even know how to describe it. but yeah the art is sort of scribble-y, isn’t it? lol makes certain parts even more confusing tbh

What I like the most about Nanao Nanakis art is the thick lines, simple yet amazing facial expressions and how easy to follow her action panels are.
One of the best upcoming mangaka at the moment, helck was her first manga and it was really good.
This is supposedly the sequel to helck, only 4 chapters out but it's enjoyable so far, was expecting no less from her.

Horror is not a genre I rank highly, but I have really been enjoying mieruko chan.
The art is amazing, good comedy, the characters fun although often pretty trope-ish and the designs of all these grotesque creatures is nothing like I have ever seen before.
This manga combines horror and dark comedy very well, must read for any horror fan.

    Takemitsu Zamurai - 7/10

I was initially pretty apprehensive of starting this, because I've never really cared much for action scenes, which is what I was expecting from a samurai manga. Luckily, Takemitsu Zamurai is actually pretty light on action scenes, with much of its focus being spent on character introspection and the MC trying his best to leave a life of violence behind him. The execution of the manga's atmosphere was perfect. Even though everything was portrayed as peaceful and easy-going, little moments like the MC looking out at an approaching thunderstorm was enough to add a sense of lurking suspense.

Matsumoto is a great artist, and I love how rough and animalistic he made the MC look when he was fighting, to show the divide between his normal self and his hidden killer self.

    Absolutely amazing romance/seinen
It’s about a college art student that is struggling to find inspiration and just rolling through life and its struggles. An older woman takes interest in him while she sees him paint and things just take off from there

It was a short read but well worth it if your looking to peep a more realistic romance/coming of age that’s not on that high school s***

    Title: Natsu no Zenjitsu

    Was a nice hidden gem
