Wesley snipes may ve been overall wrong on that set but he made some great points, goyer was indeed a huge detriment to the movie

But they don't have to make it "integrated" but it could still work in the universe.

I've pretty much given up hope on Spider-Man in general. I don't think any media surrounding him will be good until Disney owns the rights free and clear and even then I don't really think it'll make much of an impact.

They took their flagship hero and kind of f***ed it, and it bothers me a little bit.

Spider-Man is a strong enough IP that he could've easily been the lead of the entire MCU for decades after RDJ left, he's got the history and he's got the stories, but because Sony has to stretch his character to it's breaking point so that they can make madame webb or whatever we're stuck with this homunculus character that pleases nobody

My general complaint about marvel as a whole right now is basically just stop looking at the marvel wiki to unearth Arthur Dane the black knight or whatever - No one cares. And I'm never gonna be made to care cause Marvel sure as s*** isn't hiring anyone as good as James Gunn to direct anymore

It's less than an hour it doesn't hurt. It's kind of it's own outside thing that doesn't rely on you knowing everything about Marvel. It's just a action-horror monster tale that happens to be set in the Marvel Universe

Honestly tho ur right, its a problem with any major company and its just capitalism. After Endgame, to audiences sure it was a good ending. To disney that just meant they have to make more money the next QT. So now they have to make more money than endgame cuz they are pouring more money into things. So you get the multiverse gimmick to help sells. The OG gimmick was a shared universe. Which is prob why they dont care to much about the story of the shared universe anymore

Imo if they managed to top Endgame sells with Secret Wars then the next logical step would be a Marvel vs DC movie. Cuz i cant see what else would make more money than all the old fox niggas popping back up
