Guys… it’s a big change for sure but it’s not gonna be THAT drastic

Yeah like even in a good case you got 500k units pre-change to 700k post-change so it’s not like everyone is going to start selling a milli first week left and right

Yeah, it honestly looks more massive on larger numbers too. Like even if you go more conservative with an estimate here, it’s still like 500 to 600-650 which is a difference people would call a big one overall.

That being said, ICEMAN soon 🧊😈

    Hundred percent

2026 gonna look like everyone selling out the store now

Good, because streaming killed the value of albums, when this was the CD era, you had to put your best effort into that.

Because for the consumer, it was a risk buying an album to see if it’s good, if it was good. More buys = more money.

    For sure I’m not trippin

It’s just gonna be weaponized by the chart dweebs to s*** on pre rule change albums is the only annoying part

    I genuinely don’t care personally

Interesting that they’re doing this right when Spotify and other platforms are trying to raise their prices for their subscription model.

So now they using this to legitimize people paying that much to stream a project.
