i dont really expect thread to blow up, lowkey more for awareness of this powerful tool and to keep track of my own meditations. i meditated almost all of junior year in highschool and had the dopest and most fun year of my life because of it, i stopped and it went to s***, started back a few weeks ago now im chillin. had an aha moment like wow this s*** reeaallyy makes a difference in my temper and my melodrama. i now feel comfortable enough to recommend it to others as real thing people can do to help with mental health.

Do you think the "flow state" that comes with certain activities could be considered meditation?
When I'm rock climbing I feel very zen and present, it's just me and the wall and all my focus is on the next move.
Similarly when I'm on my motorcycle in the mountain roads blasting around I am utterly focused on the task at hand and it feels very zen.
Flow state is just an active form of meditation imo

My mind does not race/no anxiety/ mood doesn’t seem to drop past a certain point anymore.( still possible just been a long time!)
I’m calm throughout my day. Talking to strangers, women , I’m just so present .
It’s almost like life is in slow mo.
I just heard a quote the other day “ some people watch life,others participate” and I feel like I’m completely participating.
Being present has also allowed me to just appreciate that small things .
I’m at peace washing the dishes and folding laundry bruh lol
It’s gotten me so close to nature too.
I have more focus/ greater attention span.
I do smoke, so that makes everything amplified too !( do not need it though)
Really, I’m just happy bro. No where near where I want to be in professional life, yet I’m so f***in happy dawg .

It's been a good week. My sessions have been scattered but effective and I've been feeling motivated, but patient.
I'll try to add a bit more structure to my practice again next week and moving forward.
Gotta work on keeping my passive mindfulness in check, even though its been really on point today, happy about that. I haven't been drinking enough water this week so I know that's been holding me back a lil
is this a life changer?
U gotta put in the work still but yeah i believe meditation is a catalyst for change.
