I watched the first mission impossible and then rewatched this movie and enjoyed it a lot more
still way too long and the middle section drags like crazy. long ass scenes of mfs talking and talking about nonsense. but the action is too good.

Fun movie. I don’t put it above Fallout, Rogue Nation, or Ghost Protocol tho
- Feel like they shouldn’t have done the Elsa fake out death if they were planning to kill her off
- Grace is a very hard character to like and I love Altwell. She just kept running away with the key and not listening. At a certain point (at the party) she knew she had been hired by White Widow and heard Esai speech about her or Elsa dying yet still ran off with the key. Why does she still want the key at that point? It led to Elsa dying and the only consequence of that was that she joins IMF and Ethan promises to protect her
- Pom character reasoning for switching was kinda weak but they needed a way for Ethan to learn where the key goes so I get it
- Felt like the CIA agents didn’t really need to be here. Made it feel overcrowded at some points
I actually enjoyed how crowded it was

I like the commentary idea.
I doubt it was to “tell the difference” because the real widow was knocked out majority of the time, plus they were wearing different clothes so it’s easy to know who’s who.

Machine didn't mess up her mask though, it messed up her security guards mask for Cruise to wear. Which led to Cruise going for the alternate route from outside.

Airport scene was incredible.
I didn’t watch any promo or trailers for this so the motorcycle mountain jump was truly breathtaking.

But the eyes were wrong on the mask. Widow has blue eyes. Was that always a thing in MI that it didn’t change eye color?
I rewatched all movies leading up to this one and can’t remember if eyes never changed with the mask
