Unfortunately never played it back in the day and thought it was better than AC2 which gets all the hype. Caught me by surprise, Cesare Borgia was great

That's real. Brotherhood was my first AC game, went back to 2 after and I was slightly disappointed because that's the one people always hype up. They're neck and neck, but Brotherhood should be getting the love 2 does

Surprise : Battlebit, Cyberpunk( I waited til recently to buy it but think if I sprinkle enough mods on it post 2.0 update that I will be very far from the hate )
Disappointment: Back 4 Blood, GTA trilogy

    Need battlebit on console

AC brotherhood was also my last AC I played fr and it had so many improvements over AC2, loved calling in the gang of assassins and watching them dust a whole group. I think I remember it being smaller map wise compared to AC2 though

Brotherhood was smaller in length too iirc. Loved it though, plus playing with the apple was so fire.

Stardew Valley would probably be my option for surprising game. Played it the first time for like 8 hours straight. Ultimately only played it for like 3 days lmao, realized this s*** will overtake my life. It was just so addicting, so I deleted it.

I bought a cheap game key for my series x when it already had a lot of updates to run in 60fps and I gotta say this game was a lot of fun.
      never played it on release

    • new gen gta 5
when this edition came out I read on the internet that this still runs like crap like it was on the xbox one/ps4. This edition was just released on game pass and after I IMMEDIATELY changed the AWFUL quality mode to RT-performance and it actually runs great and it's the first time in years that this makes me play the game again

Surprise is maybe Yakuza 7 for being the only Yakuza game I could stomach til the end. Had a lot of fun with it.

Disappointment is FF16 for taking the RPG out of Final Fantasy.

Final fantasy xvi was both a surprise and a disappointment. Because it had so much potential

Black Flag is definitely worth checking out. Still, not a very “assassin” game, but a great game nonetheless

The creed formula exhausted me at a point like it’s open world linearity . Creed and far cry just saw the formula and said “ eureka “

I got to that point of exhaustion at Unity. But I feel like I would have reached that point earlier if I never skipped Revelations and Rogue

Open world with no real sandbox because it demands how it wants to be played is tough for me . I need to play hitman though
