i rly feel u on like not wanting to work out
but maybe try doing boxing or something where theres other ppl around to kinda motivate u and theres a goal in mind thats not just getting toned while u are still getting toned??? i hate working out but my bf started dragging me 2 boxing and its kinda fun... ive actually noticed a lil arm definition in my arm and a lil more ab whatever and we haven't been going that long
but i defs agree w others in this thread--i fl like if u just lose weight ur gonna look kinda funky, esp bc ur might start losing some of whatever muscle u have along w the rest of ur fat
so ud end up kinda weird and... basement dweller-y
So what kind of work outs would prevent this
But even then im not really worried about that im already pretty muscular and lean
Im only losing 15-20 not 40 lol
Just know my nigga the more you work out the hungrier you'll be. Keep that s*** in check my nigga. You either eating less insulinogenic/calorically-dense or you're eating more but it's healthy s***.
Sounds like too much work ngl

if u dont wanna go outside just do body weight s***
pushups, situps, squats
get a pull up bar and some weights so you can do pullups curls and whatever
or you can just lose the weight and wait to see whats up w ur body but tbh working out = calorie expenditure = faster weight loss (or maybe ur weight loss stagnates or some s*** but the weights just shifting from fat to muscle)
also cardio is important for heart health !! and it can also help burn calories
the jogs from the c25k app are p easy at first (coming from someone who does NOT like to run) and they amp u up v slowly so you dont feel in pain or od out of breath or anything

are you muscular or can you just see your muscles

ite so you're saying that you just have more natural muscle and may be more wide in the shoulders and chest
if you havent worked for those muscles then your weight loss is as simple as adhering to a sustainable calorie restricted diet and getting in at least 2 30 min jogging sessions a week(C25K is an excellent beginner running app)
anyway watch the video i linked on page 2, it's one of the best fitness channels on YT and tells you how to lose weight through habit instead of something as short lived at motivation
I’m same height and 200 how are you fat
Never said i was lol
I have fat but im not visibly fat

Op ngl I’m in the same boat as you cause I’ve been hovering around 6’0” 176-180 for the last few months and I feel like I’m chubby even though people say I look skinny It’s mostly around my stomach area where I feel like the fat is

Mine is my thigh/butt pause
And a lil on my cheeks
Wish i could post myself naked
just gotta push yourself mentally and envision your end result... lost about 30 lbs since March just pushing myself to workout almost everyday (highly recommend biking to lose weight)
easiest thing to do when i want to gain/lose weight is count my calories and just be disciplined with it.
Word. Stay just under maintenance calories consistently and you'll shed without even thinking about it
I’m 5’11 190 and used to have the same problem. I’ve been lifting weights since March and tho my weight ain’t changed my body has. I look slimmer and s***
shouldn't how you look and feel be more important that the number itself?
But also are you adding cardio?
im 6'3 and 155 lol i think its cause i hate eating during the day and eat a big dinner and snack hard at night idk
Calculate your BMR, then set a calorie limit (500-1000 lower than BMR for 1-2 pounds a week), track calories with My Fitness Pal, and do some cardio regularly. For the diet part, have some staple foods and snacks you can go to. Fruits and veggies are low cal. Great to get full on. Tea, water, and coffee for liquids. Maybe a low cal flavor packet for variety.
Honestly, if you can do like 7 days it gets way easier. Your stomach shrinks.
