NDL DOOMIt was probably the first thing admittingly, but I don't know I can't but shake this feeling that this wasn't the main incentive here.
It really just comes off like they're mad I mentioned race at all. Like the equivalent of the Starfield Pronouns guy.
Especially that Phenotype comment, gave me "STOP TRYING TO CURRENT DAY ME" vibes.

for what its worth i went to rome a few years ago with my family and we're all brown, didn't have any racist encounters that i remember. my mom lost her phone and some random person found it and actually called us lol. ofc your experience as a black couple will be different, but I think you can still have a great trip, i loved it there
