I have a neurotic mom as well, I’m 26 and I live alone.
When she calls me she wants to know exactly what I did yesterday, who I saw, if I’m going somewhere today and where.
If she calls me as I’m about to leave is the worst, she wants to know every detail as I’m trying to pack or leave.
I love her so I answer all her questions and tell her not to worry, but she doesn’t know 90% of the places I go to or any of my friends which leads to more and more questions.
But like that guy said it’s cause she worries about us

DrenchIm 23 years old, my whole life my mom has treated me like im some porcelain that can break at the slighest touch, when I have new friends my mom immediately tries to sow discord about how they could be using me, when I go outside after like 9 she acts like i cant walk these streets like a f***ing little girl it makes me so angry, when I was little and all the boys around me were going to soccer and boxing I was never allowed, when I fought my bullies back I got beat like a dog at home and I lost my fighter mentality at a young age, I still love my mom more than anything but these things are only some of the reason im such a dysfunctional adult, I dont know why im saying all of this I guess just needed to vent, anyone relate to this?
