as a Muslim I respect all religions and viewpoints I can’t stand atheists who think religious people are stupid for believing in whatever it is that they believe. I feel that it’s irrational to not believe in something that from there viewpoint can’t be proven so why completely write it off? And when saying this I’m not talking about people who simply don’t believe I’m talking about people so confident in their disbelief

I think atheists just mad that religious people use their beliefs to try and control people and that historically it's been used to justify the slaughter and control of millions of people.

Like abortion wasn't a religious issue til republicans decided they should make it one. Only s*** in the Bible about it is how to perform one. Now that's just an example of course, I don't know enough about your doctrine to speak on it specifically. But religion been co-opted by ruthless elites who use it to control policy and influence the masses.

I ain't saying if you believe in religion you're stupid or you're a sheep, but I'm saying there's a possibility because largely that's what it's used for these days. Give the people a little comfort in the afterlife but also get them to do what you want.

Yeah I would never deny that religion has been used to justify horrible things but the teachings are great stuff (I’m a Muslim btw)

Atheism a set of belief it's just not believing in god (and even then, some atheists are just skeptical or don't follow a religion). There's a whole spectrum that people often overlook, the net is pretty broad man!

Atheists like a lot of groups get a bad rep because of the vocal minority: reddit atheists who's sole personality is feeling superior to religious people. It's just like how people tend to generalize Christians as the bible thumpers protesting gay marriage or whatever.

Personally I don't even really identify myself as one even if I don't believe in God because its not something that is important or relevant in my life enough for me to claim as part of my identity lol.
