Like don't get me wrong today's rappers aren't bad but their music doesn't do much for me except for select few

Think thats the case in every era tho
Only a couple really stand out

Its true that its worse than ever now tho. Its more singles based and less on crafting amazing albums

Hating the game as a whole just shows you're not trying hard enough to listen to what's out there. It's posturing at its best but it 100% on brand for Nas.

Nah. Blanket statements hating on the game are lazy and just show you aren't listening to what's out there.

There's a lot of dope artists doing it right now.

Youre entitled to that opinion mane. I gotta disagree though

Dont get me wrong what im saying is completely subjective and bias based on my own likings. If other people dont find the music stagnant and interesting they are perfectly within their own right to continue to enjoy things and im not going to judge that or say its wrong

    hes not wrong.

when people start hyping up trash like pooh shiesty then you know the new rappers have to be bad

Heres my thing though. I actually like the guy's music. What it comes down to for me is when people try to act like this is the new game changer. Its nothing we haven't seen 100 times before already. Its cool he's popular, but he's not about to be come savior lol

There’s no such thing as a “savior” that s*** was always a myth perpetrated by dustheads in the 2000s mad that rappers weren’t using 1995 jazz samples beats.

Imagine an earthling keeping up the goat. He right.

  • Mar 5, 2021

It's because people dont put their
soul inte music no more. Everybody is forced by their label to make that billboard number one song rather than actually have their artists make the music they want to make.

It's all about billboards and thats it. Thus why alot of the music sounds the same

Niggas was riding Joey’s d*** HEAVY when 1999 came out partly because of that.
