This might sound crazy but…. I can see Netflix making a hard bid for the UFC rights when their contract with ESPN is up. Probably for NFL Sunday Ticket too,I can see them going after premium sports to make up for the subscriber losses.

Yep,plus the strategy that ESPN+ uses where you have to be a subscriber in order to buy UFC PPVs is so risky but yet,so genius at the same time. That’s the kinda thing Netflix needs right now,UFC fans would literally buy yearly subs just so they can pay for PPV when they want too lol

  • its over for these niggas

Netflix is struggling. They have the best video streaming quality, and tech but that don’t equal income coming in.

Their business/product department is screwing over their engineers at this point with the money they’re wasting.

How did the company literally automatically associated with streaming get this down bad lmao

    • lost the office
    • house of cards/bojack/ozark/stranger things all ended or reaching the end
    • growth led them to spend more $ on original content knowing other companies would pull back their shows/movies and create their own streamer or raise the licensing fees

on the other hand they are building up their own shows and movies (irishman, david fincher, bird box, all their docs, snyder/bay, love death robots, ozark, etc) but these things cost a lotta cheddar and subject to miss unlike the shows/movies they license which are known commoties. misses like the space show
