Netflix only releases like 1-2 good show per year. And lets not even talk about their movies

I could see Apple TV grabbing Sunday ticket/or at least Redzone, a ufc deal would definitely be a game changer for whatever streaming service could snag that potentially

I honestly see ESPN potentially dropping UFC to test the waters with carrying a Sunday Ticket package. If Apple gets Sunday Ticket,it’ll be exclusive to Apple TV devices for sure, that’s the only reason Apple would want Sunday Ticket,to sell Apple TV’s.

I can really see UFC going to Netflix tho. They can probably get some college sports, some NBA games and other stuff like tennis/golf too. Their gonna need sports to survive but their gonna need something like Sunday Ticket or UFC to be the backbone.

How did the company literally automatically associated with streaming get this down bad lmao

The “legacy titles” I.e The Office, Friends etc those type of shows accounted for a lot of their viewership on Netflix. Once all these other networks started making their own streaming platforms and took back their shows, Netflix original content can’t really compete.

I’d say a majority of your average Netflix subscribers watch reruns of shows they’ve already watched

People go on about the Netflix "woke agenda" but I've watched a fair few Netflix originals and the main thread between them is that they're all complete dogshit. Like there's no agenda in 'the Bubble' it's just one of the worst movies I've ever seen

This might sound crazy but…. I can see Netflix making a hard bid for the UFC rights when their contract with ESPN is up. Probably for NFL Sunday Ticket too,I can see them going after premium sports to make up for the subscriber losses.

Amazon already have that lane covered

  • Apr 24, 2022

    Just cancelled. F*** em.

The entire reason I got them is so I could watch s*** on demand without commercials.

    HBO Killin it anyway.

    • lost the office
    • house of cards/bojack/ozark/stranger things all ended or reaching the end
    • growth led them to spend more $ on original content knowing other companies would pull back their shows/movies and create their own streamer or raise the licensing fees

on the other hand they are building up their own shows and movies (irishman, david fincher, bird box, all their docs, snyder/bay, love death robots, ozark, etc) but these things cost a lotta cheddar and subject to miss unlike the shows/movies they license which are known commoties. misses like the space show

    Lost In Space reboot?

    I actually enjoyed that show
