ok u just change the song and move on? idk what the issue is tbh
people expect apps to perfectly fit their randomly specific lifestyles
idk why i thought you'd like this lol
I want proper streaming integration with DJ Software
Otherwise I don't need any more features
Let’s complain about a feature that’s clearly made for casual music listeners

Mainstream died three years ago
Pretty much
People love to blame it on the playlist features but Spotify literally has these type of playlists since like 2015-2016
Significantly easier for small unsigned artists to get discovered today thanks to Spotify + TikTok + SoundCloud than it was 10 years ago
You're right tbh
This promotes keeping you in your comfort zone and never finding stuff outside of your usual scope
a nigga using this aint searching out they comfort zone anyway tf are you niggas on
People wonder why catalog music is doing so well while listening to their payola infested super genre specific algorithm playlist.
so sad
Let’s complain about a feature that’s clearly made for casual music listeners
dont think anyone disputed this bro
Didnt know "good rap" was a genre.. sounds racist
Nah they just know the taste of people who claim they only listen to "real rap"
It’s funny that people try and posit that we live in an era where the listener chooses what they’re hearing, as opposed to being force fed whatever’s popular via radio, but the same exact thing is happening now, just in the form of playlisting
brand new take. tell me more
Wish Spotify still had the discover feature from before. Had a whole page of "more like x artist" or "y album," that was rewarding in finding new artists. Now it's the same 10-20 artists being constantly pushed into the front page or the "algorithm based recommendations"

I’m sure you were the first person ever to think of every single thought you’ve ever had
Honestly did not realize until recently how much people prefer that the platform itself does the heavy lifting when it comes to playlists, song curation, etc.
So this will probably be a hit.
people are sheep like that
Just read an article on here yesterday about how a bunch of A&Rs basically saying how trash the music industry is rn and how they have no idea what to do cuz there’s no rhyme or reason to which songs get play and become smash hits and how less and less newer artists are emerging with a stronghold
the answer is shows.
