This isn't even a good bait thread and y'all running it up
Nah man he lowkey right
@op might be the best bait account I’ve seen bruh
told yall he's not a real person
they don’t post that jpegmafia avi on the first page of op threads anymore. he won
He changed that avi asap after the gif was posted I know he lowkey heated @Sir_Swagalot or whoever posted that gif originally because they ruined that avi for him
then what's the purpose, in your interpretation?
is rap not a form of art?
these posts always have some angle of devaluation or something but i just don't see it
i think ross, andre, and jpegmafia would all have no issue referring to themselves as artists. that's what they are. if it's not bait i truly don't know what op is trying to get across.
Nah man he lowkey right
pls see last post and respond if you care to i'm genuinely curious
White people use the term rapper to hold them down as if they can't be anything other than a rapper

astonishing! lmao
So what genre is ariana grande?
Her discography is so huge we would need a song example in mind. That's like asking what genre is Ye or Taylor Swift. Focus is sort of 70's dance-pop with a hint of contemporary jazz but Dangerous Women is clearly r&b from the hook to the verses

A lot of the rappers who say they are "not rappers but artists" make multiple genres of music like pop and r&b
Unfortunately, the word "rapper" in some cases has been weaponized by racists as a buzz word for Black people.
Same could be said for "looters" too.
Like I noticed many times when a young Black man gets killed, he'll get referred to as a "rapper" on the news even if he only had like 5 songs on Soundcloud lol.
So, some rappers distance themselves from being boxed as a "rapper" because of that.
Not saying I agree but that's probably why.
